JP Car Valet – Car Wash & Valeting Services

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by JP Car Valet being (“we”, “us”, “our”) to our customers being (“you”, “your”).


By booking or using our services, you agree to the following:

1. Services

1.1 We provide hand car washing and valeting services from our premises in Swindon.

1.2 Service details, prices, and availability are subject to change at our discretion.

1.3 We reserve the right to refuse service if a vehicle is excessively soiled (e.g., hazardous waste, animal waste, chemical spills).

 

2. Bookings & Payment 

2.1 Services are pre-booked only with a deposit being made (pre-booking is subject to availability). 
2.2 Booked service will be confirmed once deposit is paid to JP Car Valet.

2.3 Payment is due in full upon completion of the service.

2.4 We accept cash or bank transfer only.

 

3. Customer Responsibilities

3.1 Please remove all personal belongings and valuables before leaving your vehicle. We cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to items left inside.

3.2 Please disclose any known defects or pre-existing damage to your vehicle before we begin work.

3.3 You must ensure your vehicle is legally roadworthy and insured while in our care.

 

4. Liability

4.1 We will take reasonable care while working on your vehicle.

4.2 JP Car Valet are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage, defects, scratches, dents, or poor paintwork.
  • Damage caused by loose trim, faulty seals, or parts that are already worn.
  • Loss or damage to personal belongings left inside the vehicle.
  • Our maximum liability for any proven damage caused by our negligence will not exceed the cost of the service provided.

 

5. Cancellations & Refunds

5.1 You may cancel or reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice.

5.2 Failure to attend a booking without notice may result in a cancellation fee.

5.3 Refunds are only offered if we fail to provide the agreed service to a reasonable standard.

5.4 All deposits made are non refundable and will be deducted from overall cost of your service booked.

 

6. Health & Safety

6.1 Please follow our instructions regarding drop-off, waiting, or collection of vehicles at our premises.

6.2 Children and pets must remain in safe areas away from the working space.

 

7. Complaints

7.1 If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please let us know within 24 hours of completion so we can review and resolve the matter where possible.

 

8. Privacy

8.1 We may collect and store your contact details for booking and communication purposes only.

8.2 We will not share your personal information with third parties except where required to by law.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
